Our Director
Hello! My name is Patti Scott and I am the director of St. Paul Lutheran School. I am a life-long learner and have taught Science to curious children for over 30 years. For the last 12 years I have worked for Texas Tech University with their Education Department to supervise their student teachers as well as teach various classes. Since moving to Vernon, 4 years ago, I have been an online instructor for Tech.
While I enjoy my online students, I am enjoying the day to day interaction with the wonderful staff here at St. Paul Lutheran School.
I am enjoying seeing all of your curious children and working with you!
Our Teachers
Mrs. Lisa Aderholt- I am a graduate of Abilene Christian University. I have been teaching Pre- Kindergarten here at St. Paul Lutheran school for fifteen years. I really love and enjoy teaching the little ones! I am married to Ken Aderholt and we have two sons, Brady and Blake. Brady is 22 years old and a senior at Oklahoma Christian University. Blake is 19 years old and is attending Vernon College. We are active members at Wilbarger Street Church of Christ. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and being outdoors. We love to go hiking and fishing, especially in Colorado.
Mrs. Heather Ham - Mrs. Ham has joined St Paul Lutheran School this year as one of the Pre-K 4's teachers. She has many years of experience in the Vernon ISD school system.
Mrs. Sherri Koch has taught Pre-School for close to 20 years. She is married to Ricky Koch, and has 4 children: Tyler and wife Marlee; Dillon and wife Amy; Bryce, a sophomore at MSU; and Brooklyn, a Junior at Northside. Sherri is a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. She loves spending time with kids, gardening, and taking care of her pets.

Mrs. Pam Matus Is a graduate of West Texas State University in Canyon. I have a bachelors of Business as well as an Education degree. I am married to Mike Matus. We have 4 children- Jeremy, Matt, Scott and Mandy (Kajs). We have 9 grandchildren. I started teaching at St. Paul School in 2001. I am currently the Kindergarten teacher. I am a home body that enjoys reading and spending time with my grandchildren.
Mrs. Pam Walker I have had the privilege of being a part of St. Paul Lutheran School since 2000. I teach the preschool class (3 year old's) I am committed to providing your family with a loving and developmentally sound foundation of learning. I'm from the Amarillo/Canyon area. I attended WTAMU. I'm married to John Walker. We own a small business, Porter=Walker Oil Co. We have two daughters that both live in the OKC area. I enjoy working in my yard growing flowers, love listening to music and going for walks. I especially love spending time with my family.
